THANK YOU

Thank you again for all the support you've been giving us. The family is truly awed be the amount of people that have called, written, sent food and wine, or have been supporting behind the scenes. Carmen made a difference in this world, and we call all see that by your reactions. There are so many people to thank!!! Thanks to the Chiefs at DSU and North Island for all you are doing behind the scenes. Thanks to all of you also afflicted with Scleroderma who have spoken up for Carmen. Keep the fight up for her! Thanks to Margaritaville Key West, I can't even begin to list all of the things you've done. Thanks to all Carmen's friends, old and new, you have been wonderful. Thanks to Carmen's past co-workers, many I've never met, for loving Carmen so much. Also, I want to thank all those people I've been friends with that are now live all around the world, but reaching out to me at this time. I'll buy you a beer someday when we get together again. If I forgot to mention you then I'm really sorry. Those of you I've called and asked favors of for Carmen's funeral... I can't tell you how much you mean to me. Thanks Michelle for flying out here for Sharon and helping us out.

I'm going back to my private self here soon. No blogs or myspace for awhile. Please feel free to e-mail me at captrosso@yahoo.com if you want to contact me. I'll still read the responses from her two websites. If you are planning on attending the funeral and I don't know it, please e-mail me and let me know. I have to make a guest list so that you can get on base.

Thanks Again!

Mike

Mike, Its been awhile and we only met briefly but I am so sorry to hear of your lose, dominics lose- well all of our loses really. We worked together in CT- Sarah Bush, Aubrey and Dom played together sometimes. Ihave kept in touch over the years- wow seems like yesterday I was with a group of us softball freaks knocking on the door to get a bathroom tour!! Its hard from here but if you need anything from the VA side let me know. Always enjoyed her blogs and our more personal chats from time to time. Hugs to Dom and you both.
I will taost to her passing by raising that margarita glass and smiling remembering all the love she gave to us all.

Mike, this is Marcy from CT. I heard of Carmen's passing today.I rarely check my email, but felt compelled to do so today and found a message from Sharon and Heidi. The last time I checked it, I'm guessing about 2 months ago, I watched Carmen's slide show and was reminded what an incredible human being she was. She had such a beautiful light about her.I remember the first time I met her. She came into the store I knew I liked her within the first thirty seconds I felt such a connection with her. I just want to say that I am truly sorry for your's and Dom's loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

    Mike & Dominic,

For the past five days, I have been struggling to find the words I want to say to you. I am so very sorry for your loss and equally the loss to all those whose lives Carmen touched. She was an amazing spirit and the world has lost a wonderful source of all that is right in this world.

Peace be with you. As you go through these terrible days, I hope you can find strength in the knowledge that this wonderful loved you more than anyone could ever express.

I happened to be looking at someone's myspace page and i saw carmen's picture. i have often wondered where she was and how she was doing. we went to high school together and were pretty good friends, even though we didn't stay in touch much after. Carmen was a beautiful woman and always knew how to make the best out of the worst situations. she was awesome and will always be with us all in spirit.

    Mike,
I knew your wife when you and my husband {J. Yoast} were on the Seawolf. We had a special bond because we both had incurrable diseases. We just got stationed in San Diego, and I thought about her and just found her my space page. I am so sorry to hear about her passing. She was an amazing human being, I am blessed to have known her and will never forget all of her stories of Key West.
On a side note I see that you were commisioned, congratulations. Jess was too, a few years ago. He is at HS10 right now, then in a few months we will go to JAX. If you are still in the San Diego area, we would love to have you over for dinner sometime.
    Sincerely,
    Latisha Yoast
